Middle East Studies Program (MESP)
The Jerusalem-based MESP immerses students in the intricate realities of the contemporary Middle East. Through interdisciplinary seminars, participants delve into the rich tapestry of religious, societal, cultural, and political narratives shaping the region. Complementary offerings include Arabic language instruction, a homestay experience, and volunteer placements with local organizations. Travel excursions to Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, and Turkey broaden understanding of regional diversity and dynamism. Graduates earn 16 semester hours of academic credit. Nashville – Contemporary Music Center (CMC)
The Nashville-based CMC empowers students to pursue studies, residency, and professional collaboration within the vibrant music industry. Ideal for aspiring musicians, songwriters, producers, engineers, managers, agents, promoters, publishers, and entrepreneurs, the program blends core coursework with specialized tracks tailored to individual career aspirations. Hands-on projects include crafting original works, producing demos, staging live performances, and devising comprehensive marketing strategies. Au Sable Institute
Partnering with CCCU schools, Montreat students can enroll in 4-credit Biology or Environmental Science courses across global settings. Offerings include:
- "Ecology of the Indian Tropics" in India (late Dec–early Jan)
- "Tropical Agriculture and Missions" in Costa Rica (May Term)
- "Field Biology in Spring" along Michigan’s Great Lakes (May Term)
- Specialized courses covering aquatic biology, conservation, botany, ecology, resource management, molecular techniques, and field research (various terms)
- Water resources, restoration ecology, environmental chemistry, watershed stewardship, wildlife ecology, and advanced research methods (Michigan Summer II)

Hannam University Programs
Collaborating with Hannam University in South Korea, Montreat students can accrue humanities or elective credits during a three-week Korea Studies Summer Program or through semester- or year-long study abroad opportunities.

Rome With Purpose
Participants may transfer 15–16 credits during a fall or spring semester while immersed in Christian life and culture in Italy. Living arrangements include a convent residence, with coursework delivered by professors grounded in Christian perspectives. Classes cover Italian language, culture, and excursions throughout Rome, Florence, and Ostia, highlighting historical sites and contemporary society. Volunteer and homestay options deepen engagement. Veritas Programs
Veritas facilitates academic study abroad with opportunities to collaborate with missionaries in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Spain, South Korea, London, Paris, and Rome. Experiences include semester or summer placements, fostering cross-cultural understanding and mission-focused service. Immersion Semester
The Outdoor Education Immersion Semester and Wilderness Leadership Certificate provide experiential learning focused on leadership and wilderness skills. Open to current students and others interested in outdoor leadership, courses cover topics such as leadership dynamics, expedition management, natural history, winter education, and adventure sports. Certification from recognized organizations is available. Tuition, housing, and additional fees apply.
Leadership and Discipleship in the Wilderness (LDW)
LDW delivers wilderness-based leadership training emphasizing spiritual formation, community building, and outdoor skills. Utilizing established curricula, the program fosters growth in discipleship and leadership within a Christian framework.
The Oregon Extension
