Connecting Graduates Through Montreat's Legacy
Carter Sullivan Alumni Association

Maintain meaningful ties to Montreat College via the dedicated Alumni Association and its influential Leadership Council!
Purpose
Montreat College's Alumni Association exists to advance and champion the institution's core principles—mission, vision, values, goals, and spiritual foundation—through dedicated prayer, volunteer efforts, monetary contributions, and active participation in student recruitment and retention. As an integral division of Montreat College rather than an independent organization, it serves as a vital bridge between past and present graduates.
Membership
Eligible members encompass all former students who attended Montreat institutions during specified periods: from Montreat Normal School (1916-1933), Montreat Junior College (1933-1934), Montreat College (1934-1959), High School Division (1916-1959), Anderson College (1959-1995), and current Montreat College programs (1995-present). Membership requires no fees or formal procedures for qualifying individuals. Additionally, honorary recognition extends to esteemed faculty, staff, board members, and other professionals endorsed by the Leadership Council and formally approved by Montreat's president.
Alumni Association Leadership Council
The Alumni Leadership Council (ALC) drives initiatives to cultivate alumni engagement through strategic planning and innovative outreach. This dedicated group champions Montreat's impact on graduates' professional trajectories and regional growth, while ensuring present-day students inherit the same advantageous experiences alumni once cherished.
