Joining Montreat College's faculty in 2026, Dr. Rhone brings a wealth of knowledge in nineteenth- and twentieth-century British literature, with a focus on fantasy, science fiction, horror genres, and notable authors such as J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, and George MacDonald. His scholarly pursuits delve into worldbuilding and interactive narratives, extending into the realm of video game storytelling.
Beyond academia, Dr. Rhone is deeply involved in both technical and creative writing endeavors.
